My sky hub max broadband box was supposed to be installed today and i've been waiting by my window as my buzzer is broken and not seen anyone come to the door or anything from sky or openreach. I have an appointment at 2:30 that i've had to re arrange. I've been up since before 8 and it's now 2pm and no one's still been here yet. I'm going to need to reschedule the engineer visit as now they're late and i shouldn't be charged as i've been up and waiting for it.

It's now 2:05pm so what time were they due? It was always a possibility they wouldn't be finished in time, or be delayed at an earlier job. By the way, you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on here. This is primarily a customer to customer forum.

That's not really a thing: what's installed is Openreach broadband infrastructure (where required, particularly for new FTTP)
Typically a Hub is posted out for a subscriber to install themselves on the appropriate Openreach connection.
Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome
It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
