Broadband Connection consistently disconnecting

Router has been disconnecting from the internet, initially this happened intermittently beginning last week. Now it is happening big daily. I run the online check and sometimes a problem  is identified as an issue and sometimes not even though I have a flashing amber light on the hub under "internet". I have frequently run through a reset, I get to a point where I can book an engineer where all of a sudden it reconnects. Is this happening for others or just for me?

@Austin69  If you are getting to the point of being able to book an engineer then log the fault by calling in.

£15 to book an engineer then it starts working on its own... something seems odd. You're suggesting at this point I call? What does calling achieve?

@Austin69  The charge is for an engineer visit over the weekend. If you are not able to book one then the contact centre should be able to do it for you that is the reason to call.

Re: Broadband Connection consistently disconnecting

I think we're talking at cross purposes. I understand what you're saying. My point is that how come as soon as I progress to the point of an "engineer is required" does it automatically reconnect and fix itself. This isn't a one time scenario, it's consistent. That to me suggests the issue is not on my end. Any one else have the same scenario?
