Broadband Box Test carried out - need to confirm it was by an authorised engineer

Yesterday, or the day before, someone came through and spoke on our *Medicare" box, he wanted to carry out a test on the Sky Broadband box. I thought this was an usual way to contact us. He said he was from Sky. I would like someone to check that this person was a genuine Sky Engineer. I have since contacted the people at Medicare to see if they made the call and they have no record of doing this or would have no reason to do so.

What do you mean by this, did you receive a call by someone claiming to be from Sky ?

@ROBERT19481 You can also call sky from your home landline by dialling 150, and ask the same question to sky and does not seem like a way of doing a correct contact to you!

@ROBERT19481  What is a midicare box?  If it's supplied by the local authority etc I'm not sure how Sky can access it themselves?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Thank you for your reply. I don't have a landline phone, mobile only. Tried 150, only picked up numbers that include "150" . Tried looking for a contact telephone number on the internet with no success.
