Broadband 18th December 2024
Date: 18th December 2024
I am in Llanelli (Carmarthenshire) and it says there is a problem with the broadband in my area, so nothing is working. The message also states that it usually takes "a few days" to sort out, is that correct? I work from home so I'm having to hotspot off my phone which costs a small fortune.
Do sky usually re-imburse people, it doesn't seem fair to pay (quite a bit) for a service that doesn't work for "a few days"? One of the benefits of sky is that broadband and TV etc are all from the same provider but it seems when there's an issue with one thing there's an issue with everything which is a pain.

@LRB1127
If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you notify Sky of the fault, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (from 01/04/24 the rates are £9.76 per day).
