Booster issues

Hi, 

i was sent a booster and it does not seem to connect as the white light is constantly flashing. I was told to hold the WPS for 2 secs to activate the connection but it is constantly flashing. 
please advice what to do.

Have you held the WPS button on your router, then the booster?
