I was told I needed to upgrade to fibre broadband. Having agreed to a new package, Sky said work would be completed in a few days.
Since then I have had 6 different visits from Sky and BT Openreach and still no fibre broadband!...
That is not the real issue though. As Sky haven't managed to do the upgrade, my package that was meant to be cheaper is now much more expensive every month!!
When I speak to Sky they say that that is because the new package has not started so they are charging a full price price for the old, slow broadband.
That is great... I am being charged more for a worse service because Sky can not get their act together and deliver the service that they asked me to upgrade to.
Has anyone else had similar experience and how can you get this resolved. To me, now almost 5 months on and heavily out of pocket, this is getting ridiculous....

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Neilleicester2 the issue is not down to Sky. The delay is due to physical issues with running your new fibre line which as yet Openreach have not as yet overcome. Far from bring out of pocket you should actually be due significant compensation for the delayed provisioning of £6.10 per day as explained here Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com
My own switch to fibre was delayed by a couple of months and the compensation credit covered the first 6 months payment for the new service
