Bad connection with i pads

I am having problems connecting my i pad to my sky broadband. Sometimes attempts to open websites or messages either take ages or do not work herewith pic of speed test result.  Plenty of ping but nothing more!!  Is it the system or is it the i oad settings?

@TimothyKirkhope

Sky uses AI on its system networks to ensure security and protection for yourself and their networks.

Recommend that if the iPad is in range of the wireless signal and that is good you contact Sky for assistance in establishing why the iPad is being blocked from accessing their network incorrectly.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@TimothyKirkhope ping of 757ms is very poor my Sky full fibre connection tested on my iPad over a wifi connection averages 3ms on Speedsmart. Something is wrong there but as the jitter is under 2ms which would seem to rule out wifi interference. Those latency values are more likely to be seen on mobile services so is your iPad switching to using mobile data?

There is a switch in the iPadOS under mobile data called wifi assistance where a iPad with a Sim will switch to use mobile data if that  is faster than your wifi. You have to scroll to find it as it is right near the bottom.
