BT engineer has not come to connect my wifi so i cant use my new sky package at new house but Sky

I ordered sky broadband and sky over a month ago . They told me BT would connect my wifi but they dudnt turn up. So sky are charging me but i cant use my new TV and when i try and get in touch i cant. On the app it says re shedule the appointment. When i click it it says no appointments available.

it sends me round in circles, its taking my money and its impossible to get in touch with anyone!!!

@Sue145 if Sky havecstarted charging it souns like your service has been activated remotely - enginees only come out if work is required in your home. Either way you need to check with Sky so Inam escalating your to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye onnthe forum as if you miss the message just click the chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.

Thank you

 

i have no WiFi at the house. BT came and said he needed to connect to a box in the path. So yes they activated sky but I can't use it I have no WiFi 

BT didn't turn up to do the work. I have tried loads of times to contact Sky as the whole thing was ordered with them. On the App it says reschedule your appointment but you can't as it says no appointment available 

but they are taking my money

How do I get a confirmation when the BT engineer will come to connect my WiFi?

 

I tried ringing i can't get through

 

i have a message saying BT will be there tomorrow between 8 and 1 but I have a two hour drive to get there

 

i have another message to say BT need me to re schedule and the first appointment is the 12th September 

this is just unacceptable. 
they had my order for 3 months 

 

 

it's really bad customer service, doesn't bode well as we haven't even got up and running

 

i need the WiFi straight away.

 

 

how do I get any sense out of Sky it's just so unprofessional

If new FTTP provisioning is required then a delay to the other side of the holiday season wouldn't be particularly unusual.

 

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.
