Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@brownj953 number one cause of buffering on Sky Stream is poor wifi signal to the puck. You can test the speed the puck is connecting at by running the Network test in the Get Help, menu of the Netflix app. You can possible improve the WiFi signal by ensuring both the hub and the puck sre out in the open on a surface above things like radiators. It is tempting to hide the puck behind a wall mounted TV which is never a good idea as the metal in the TV blocks wifi signals.
Assuming you cannot improve the signal from the hub and usung an Ethernet cable is not practical you will have to consider either buying your own wifi kit or buying Sky's WiFi Max add-on see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
Moving the puck is not viable for where I have the TV. My internet signal is awful now after signing up for a 24 month contract for an 'upgrade'. Im not going to be paying for a WiFi booster out of my own pocket or paying more for SKy Max in order to get the same quality of product that I had originally. I'm still in the cooling off period so will be calling up Sky to cancel this weekend. Being upgraded to a worse quality product is unacceptable in my opinion.
thanks
james
