Awful Set up

I paid the original price almost 2 months ago to have broadband installed as it was the best price in my area. Now being without Wifi for 2 months, I was supposed to receive the broadband box this week with installation today. The text I received includes a link that once on the website just shows a message saying that "there's an issue... our fault not yours... blah blah blah" and tk refresh the page and try again. This does not work. Then trying to access my messages through the account centre the same message appears. Trying to ring is also an unlikely option as they want you to pay phone tariffs when no information online is relevant or helpful. I've not received the broadband box, and there has been no other communication as to if/when my broadband will be installed. This just seems like a huge scam, having broke. communication and charging fees to even attempt to contact customer support. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Or via the phone 150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone.


Sky Assistant is also available 24 hours a day on sky.com/help with rapid responses.

Hi @kc55 

I am not sure what you mean about Sky charging fees to contact them, all Sky numbers are free via Sky Landlines & charged at standard network rates from any other mobile/landline. (If you have pay monthly it will be included in your call limit)

 

As for your install issue, if you login to the My Sky app on your phone is there anything displaying in order tracking?
