Thats showing as sky uk.

With thdd intro of map-t in the uk sky uk is transferring surplus ipv4 to thdd roi

Using the sky hub go to maintenance and enter username admin

                     Password   sky or wifi password

At the bottom click on connection status the disconnect for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and reconnect to see if you can get a sky ireland ip address

Or using the asus just try switching it off for 45minutes

I've switched the router and ons off. Will leave thsoe off for 45 mins and switch back on .

Is there any reason this would happen ? Or can it be altered from my end to only connect to the Irish ipv6 ?

Unclear as to why but it could be that showing a isp as sky uk may fool the servers into requesting client id authentication opposed pppoe requirf by sky ireland.  But this is conjecture.  Your post and another sky ireland asus user were copied over to community managers who said it could be the reallocation of sky uk to sky ireland

@cookiemonsteruk Would contacting Sky customer service help resolve the problem? Or is it more of a waiting game until the switch over is complete

Although I'm pretty reluctant to do so as after having several phone calls with Sky yesterday,  it felt like banging my head against a brick wall. Extremely poor.

Sky ireland would not support 3rd party router. Are there any websites you use that don't work because of the uk ip address?

@cookiemonsteruk Now that you mention it , i seem to be remember being direct to .uk websites instead of .ie websites. I presume because it thinks I'm in the uk

The only thing sky ireland don't work over the weekend so if i escalate it will be handled by sky uk messaging and handed over sky ireland for monday
