Discussion topic: Archer VR 600 ADSL settings for Sky broadband

I have a TPlink AR1600/Archer VR 600 to replace an ageing old Sky broadband router. It is an ADSL one. I have tried all settings on the Archer and now can get DSL sync but no EAn connection. What settings should I use?

For ADSL2+

Username: install at o2broadband.co.uk (the at needs changing to @ and spaces removed)

Password: Leave blank or install
Connection Type: PPPoA
VPI: 0
VCI: 38

Replied earlier - no joy. Tried O2 and Sky broadband ADSL options. For Sky used my own credentials. Tried ADSl, ADSL 2 and ADSL2+. The Gateway looks wrong as 0.0.0.0. I can't even get DSL sync now.

Have you tried install as the password?

Could you disable bit swap

Otherwise it looks good

The username is typed wrong in the TPL settings screen
