To seperate the wifi bands to create two seperate ssids so the sonos can see the 2.4ghz wifi as seperate

The Q Hub, Sky Broadband Hub and Max Hub are dual-band by default: as @cookiemonsteruk indicates, they broadcast 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz with the same SSID (network name) unless these are manually separated (which is not possible with the Max Hub).

The legacy Sky Hub (still in support but effectively obsolete) is 2.4Ghz only.

Re: Adjust Router to dual band

Often in these situations the answer is to temporarily disable 5GHz, establish the connection you require on 2.4GHz and then re-enable the 5GHz.  It’s usually establishing the initial connection that is the issue.
