Sky sent me a white broadband booster a couple of years ago when I installed Ring cameras and the front door one was only receiving a weak signal (Sky router is at back of house). Placing the booster at the front of the house solved the problem. However, recently I have been suffering latency issues (Xbox and laptop) in the upstairs rooms. This has been solved by moving the booster upstairs, but with the result that the front Ring camera once again shows a weak signal. Considering these issues, can I get an additional booster from Sky, so I can place one upstairs and leave the original one at the front downstairs?
@Stef69 It's a call to sky, chance it and see if they will send you another, may not be a new one though as they keep them for all the sky Q issues that need solved. The sky Max is the puppy now, but do not rock the boat or be persuaded down that rabbit hole you do not need that, the other area is flea bay for a used one!
@Stef69 Do you still have broadband boost on your package? Take a look and say which booster you have and are using! Think you are going to have to call sky if you have really old product now and they will do there best to push you down the sky Max route for sure!
