Activation broadband
Should my sky box arrive before my activation day as its activation day and have not received it or had a call from engineer

Hubs are normally dispatched via Royal Mail to arrive a few days prior to the activation date.
Once sent out you can usually track its progress. The postie will usually leave it hidden if no one is in. You don't need to sign for it. The postie should also pop a card through the letterbox telling you where it was left and the tracking should show some information on it too.

My estimated activation date is today I received this by email but no box arrived and no engineer turned up so far today. I cannot get through to anybody over the phone no matter what option I select .

@Hannah2025 Estimated activation date is no good, the actual activation date is what you need, have a look on your account and order to see where it all stands currently!

Thank you for this reply .
problem is I didn't set up an account with passwords etc at the time of signing up to broadband , and I only set up an actual account today so account has no information. But they have my email so hoping they will email or text a confirmation date ?

@Hannah2025 You should take a look in your junk e-mail as a just in case they have slipped into another folder...

I have checked all email folders but nothing received apart from email confirmation with estimated activation date of today , unfortunately can't get through to a person only robots so will have to wait for a confirmation but would assume my box would have arrived before the estimated activation date unless engineer brings it on the day and I have to wait for confirmation then?

@Hannah2025 It's all your choice to wait or not, e-mails come rapid and the fixed date for me at least was a few hours after the welcome usual ones, heading was ""We're pleased to confirm your order with Sky Broadband and Talk"" but it was a simply changeover ordered 5th live 10th... So no time really inbetween but the first was the maybe 14 day's if not 30 day's and at worst case 90 day's but we will let you know shortly!!
Would not be hanging about waiting on an e-mail that may never come especially when you have not the ability to even look at your account!
