AVS reschedule Openreach Install Visit
Dear Sir,
Your engineer visited on 9 April to install the broadband service for us. However, as the telephone line room was inaccessible at the time, we had to reschedule the visit. Unfortunately, the next available time slot provided is 28 April. As we are new to the premises, this will leave us without service for more than three weeks. Could you kindly advise if a special arrangement can be made to address this issue?
If not, would it be possible to cancel our contract with SKY, as we are unable to use the service? Your prompt reply would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
SC LEUNG

Re: AVS reschedule Openreach Install Visit
@SCL
If you’re not already aware this is a customer helps customer forum and you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services.
The date you've been quoted is the earliest possible date in your area. Sky/Openreach have no special arrangements for such eventualities.
If you cancel with Sky and go to another provider using the Openreach infrastructure you'll just find yourself with an even longer installation date. If you wish to cancel your order you will need to call Sky.
