5 ghz

5 ghz not stable. In and out of service. Tv keeps telling me to reboot router.

That suggests a weak wifi signal rather than a faulty router (although that is possible of course), first run a broadband check and make sure when it is finished to click through the wifi check as well.

Thanks, appreciated. I have a brand new LG smart tv. Not had any issues on 2,4ghz. The TV is only 2 feet away from new installed Router.

Then if possible, set the TV up just to use 2.4Ghz via either it's own settings or (if possible depending on router) 'split' the 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz bands by renaming one (you can use the same password if needed) and connecting to the 2.4Ghz band. That said, if the router is that close, use an ethernet cable.
