5 Days and Counting
I am a Sky Glass Customer. I have been the victim of an external to me Broadband issue since Wednesday. Which of course means no internet it also means no TV as I cannot stream anything.
I have blown my monthly mobile data usage plan at least twice in those five days as we have had to stream TV over 4G. Goodness only knows what my data charge will be.
There has been no proactive update from either Sky or Openreach so I sit and wait for a resolution when Openreach can get around to it.

Unfortunately thats the downside of TV services delivered via the internet.
The Sky Glass does have a built-in tuner, so if you connect a traditional ariel to the TV, you will be able to watch the free to air channels broadcasting via DTT, this is the essentially the back-up service that has been built in so some channels can be watched when suffering from broadband outages.
Once your broadband issue is resolved, you could raise a complaint with Sky and ask if you can receive a credit on the TV service as a goodwill gesture; however, there is nothing in the T&Cs or regulatory legislation that states that compensation must be paid for a TV outage as there is for a broadband outage.

Yes, unfortunately that's how domestic broadband is (whether or not television and other services are relying on it)
For what's now essentially a utility alongside water and electricity it's poorly supported by the monopoly national network maintainer (no evening or weekend cover, for example), which is reflected in how little we pay for it.
