4 green lights no internet
As of 10pm last night my broadband dropped out.
The router showed 4 green lights at the time but I had no internet. I did a router reset all green lights came back on still no internet. I disconnected the router from the mains power for 1 minute reconnected 4 green lights still no internet. I have conducted the automated online service checker and it shows no issues, but there clearly is!
Divices connected with Ethernet cables show a connection but no internet access, devices connected by WiFi show WiFi connection but no internet access
Your assistance to resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated
many thanks
Ian Martin

Re: 4 green lights no internet
Even if you’ve already tried it use this link to check to see if there are any broadband issues or outages nearby ~ (it doesn’t necessarily disclose a problem immediately and it takes a little while to update so perhaps try it again later).
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
This should determine if there's an identified fault, perhaps affecting multiple households.
If there aren't any then try running the line test here
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.
Once completed, if it reports back that all is okay click on 'broadband' to run an updated test. If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.
If you’re still having problems you may need to contact Sky to report it. The easiest way is to dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline if it’s still working.
This link provides information about the coloured lights on the various hubs

Working from home?: Sky broadband being discussed here is a domestic service and whilst it's fine for those customers working from home to use it, they won’t receive additional or quicker support.

Re: 4 green lights no internet
@Ian2058 there is a fault ygat turns up ever so often with these symptoms your hub is connected to a Sky server but no data passes. The nirmal solution is to piwer down the hub for y0 minutes which should connect you to a different node.
These servers handle over 5 million connections and occasionally a node goes faulty. The machines are placed in exchanges etc around the country so it takes time for a Sky enginerr to get to them
