How to configure draytek 130 as modem bridge

I have the TP-Deco M9 tripple set that I use with the TP-Link VR2100, and a TP-Link AX1800 Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 Range Extender which the VR2100 sees as a Mesh Device, but it does not see the M9 other than as three IP addresses in the list of attached devices. I would have thought it would see the M9s as part of the Mesh Devices, as it is a Mesh device!!!

Rather annoyingly the Deco products are a mesh system in their own right and I believe that they are not One Mesh compatible - even though they are both TP-Link

Hi,
So after many months of frustration I've decided to go for a 3rd party router. I've read through many pages on the forum but was hoping someone could offer a yes or no!?
I'd like to totally replace my sky hub/router for something like a Vr2100 for example, but will all of my mini boxes work if I remove the SR203? I have 4 minis (3 ethernet and 1 wifi connection) along with a booster also via ethernet
I can post further info if required but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

VR2100 will work as a replacement for your Sky Hub.
My understanding is that the mini's get their wifi signal from the main Q box, so it shouldn't cause you any issue. I may be incorrect on that and someone else on the forum will correct me if that's the case.
I currently use the VR2100, I don't have any mini's though.

Thanks for the reply. I think my concerns are as the connection types are mixed (some wifi some wired) it could have been an issue. Didn't know if i had to keep the sky hub and run the vr2100 from that. Guessing it could mess with the mesh as it'd be 2 different networks.
Thank you for your response.

There shouldn't be any issue with the mini's that you have connected via ethernet. It's the wireless one that I'm not 100% sure on, you could always use a powerline adaptor (if the current wifi mini is on the same electrical circuit) - effectivly connecting all the mini's via ethernet.

So I'm having a nightmare with the Sky Hub 203, I have about 8 unmanaged switches around the house all cat6 new cables etc and a few devices on wifi, I think the router can't cope plus I have tried resetting it and it won't even let me change the IP address range - basically what's happening every few minutes is that the internet connection stutters , fails and then reconnects.
m I thinking after reading that I need to change the router. So which one should I go for please?
TP Link Archer AC2800
TP Link Archer AC2100
Or A another????
can anyone help with the issue or advise on the replacement please

Hi folks, I was issued with the SR203, but the DNS was playing up so I switched to the TP-Link VR2100, which worked well for some months, until the connection was dropping out for a few seconds to a few minutes or more , yesterday for a total of an hour over 15 or so dropouts. A week or so prior to yesterday I thought I woudl switch back to the SR203, but that was no better.
As the yo-yo connection was un usable, I moaned at great length to Sky as was typical. They sent out two engineers, to check the circuit out, and lo and behold, after complaining, well before the engineers arrived the connection has been perfect, no drop outs except when the engineer without bothering to tell me, reset the router to factory defaults, which luckily I had made a backup copy six months ago, meant I could reinstall the backupo config, which had originally taken me two weeks to finally configure how I wanted it.
So at the moment, after a few weeks ago when it had dropped to 18Mbps, and I had another engineer call, it seems to be working but I still had to reset a few devices that totally lost the connection to the router. Just moan like mad at Sky and suddenly all will be well for another few weeks.
