The stock firmware, eg: firmware that comes with the router is completely compatible with Sky ADSL2+ & VDSL2 DHCP Option 61. You do need to do the setup via a wired computer connected to an ethernet port otherwise all the setting are not present when presented by the web interface.

hi i followed ALL instructions given accordingly but after so long the router disconnects from sky and i have to reset the router to try to get a connection can you advise please as family are moaning at me lol

the router keeps dropping and there is no default gateway at all and i cant connect to the net without getting the gateway again ? i have now plugged in the original sr203 were there are no issues and i did follow instructions to the T .
so i get net then after half an hour no gateway as to say

The only case I've heard of that causes an issue is dropping after about 24 hours is on VDSL2 when the login details are copied from a Sky Hub. The solution was using unique login details that doesn't copy the MAC of a Sky Hub.

hi gents
i have had more problems since , the router seems to be on a startup loop and wont boot up .
tried a factory reset using the rear switch and same problem , so i have contacted the seller but not heard back from them as of this message so im back on the sr203
will keep you updated if sellers sorts it out

ive arranged for the return of the faulty unit and have been looking at an asus unit from currys so will this do the trick ?
