2nd time engineer not arrived!
So, my husband took a day off work a few weeks back to wait in for an Openreach engineer to connect full fibre broadband for us. Unfortunately, the engineer didn't show up and we had no communication regarding it. After several attempts, I managed to get hold of someone to speak to (Nick in the Provisioning/Tech team). He was great and both apologetic and helpful. He said that someone from Openreach would call us within 3 days to reschedule appointment and in the meantime, we would be due for compensation. Openreach phoned the next day and we arranged appointment for today. I got a text this morning, naming the engineer who was arriving so I thought all was good. However, about an hour ago, it showed on the Openreach tracking email, that the engineer was no longer coming. I've tried to contact Sky since, even on the number that was given to me by Nick but have been consistently unsuccessful. I'm so frustrated and angry right now. We've got hardly any decent WiFi at home and both of my kids are home for university for the Easter break but having to study elsewhere as they're not able to get online at home. I can't believe the discourtesy of both Openreach and Sky right now. I just want to talk to a human being to discuss this, not an automated message or the useless chatbot on the website! It's ridiculous! I can't keep taking days off work for engineers to continually not turn up!!!

Just phoned the sales line, as I knew a human being would answer, but was told they have no way of transferring me to anyone that could help and I just needed to keep phoning the 0333 number. We've been with sky for 17 years and this is how we're treated!
