Re: 109mbs broadband speed
Sounds good. I get 114Mbps on my 100Mbps
Sky do appear to give slightly more
Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 55 inch uhd tv, with Dolbyvision, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21
If I get it right mark as answered
If I get it wrong humour me
If I say something you like give a thumbs up

Re: 109mbs broadband speed
Thanks, is it the basic plan for full fibre? Is it good enough for normal household that maybe would be streaming on 2 devices at a time?
is it correct that on full fibre the speed doesn't be reduced during busy times?

Re: 109mbs broadband speed
Sky recommend a total bandwidth of 35Mbps for each uhd device allowing 25Mbps streaming and an extra overhead of 10Mbps of bandwidth for other stuff. Here you have enough for 2 uhd devices with 10Mbps overhead plus in your case extra bandwidth of 39Mbps. So plenty of room for both tv's to stream concurrently.
Full fibre unlike dsl connections don't suffer from contentio, congestion and crosstalk caused by a full fttc cabinet. So largely what you get is what you pay for unless there's a fault

Re: 109mbs broadband speed
While with Virgin Media my last 18month contract was M125 that gave 135Mbs download.
I have household of 4 with 1 gaming PC used by the boys, several phone/tablets, myself that works from home and also enjoy streaming Netflix.
Never had issues with 135Mbs. If the boys wanted to download large files..they would leave it overnight.
Its more about stable internet connection and Wi-Fi. You can have 500Mbs internet connection but wasted on poor Wi-Fi around the property.
