sky+ not downloading next episode from bbc and itv but works on other channels

normallly when i download one episode the next episode downloads automatically.  this has stopped working on bbc catch up and itv but seems to work on other channels.  have they changed their permissions?  or is there a reset  i can do?  its odd that its just the bbc and itv channels.

You could try a planner rebuild:

Press Services on your remote

Select Help

Select Sky+ Rebuild

This should take no longer than 10 minutes, don't do it if you are recording or due to start recording something.

I've had it work and not work on various channels lately. Currently watching a few of the Sky Nature series, some download the next episode and some don't.

Yes I have noticed a similar problem that the autodownload has stopped working with bbc catch up sevices and the bbc box sets in the past few days. ( I havent used ITV so cant comment on whether that is working). However all the sky channels, syfy,fox and All4 are working. I did try and reboot and planner rebuild without success. Are other contributors finding this ? Does anyone have any other suggestions for solving the problem (or is it a change to the way bbc  catch up is presented on a sky + box?

Many thanks for any suggestions as its very annoying.

I'm trying to find episode 3 of Industry on BBC2 that should have aired on Tues 24 Nov at 9.15pm. It's showing the wrong programme on that day on the channel by day and it's missing on the search. Really annoying as I'm following it but it clashed on the night!

@BellaI Shows on my box by just doing a simple search. The only episodes not showing are Eps 1 & 6.

Strange will try again. I'm using a fairly old sky+ box not the new system.
