Re: online threat when in emails

Thank you for this information. I actually asked our IT guys at work and he told me to use an alternative search such as Firefox or Edge but this did happen when on Edge. It is still happending but not as often. I am still wary of accepting these though, but thank you

Yes Bitdefender to have support and it is very good, they are usually quick at responding to any queries also, I have aksed my IT guys at work and they suggested using an altermative search engine. Like I replied to someone else on here it is still happening but not as often but I am still unsure about accepting it. Thank you all so much for your help.

Re: online threat when in emails

The only thing that works (somehow) is going to the yahoo privacy dashboard and rejecting  advertising partners: both by functionality and by partners (each having 2 columns). This works as long as a button from "legitimate interest" does not get activated by accessing a webpage that activates it. If this occurs one has to go back to the privacy dashboard and deactivate the reactivated button.

Also having javascript disabled can help but can be annoying for some users.

There must be a better approach I guess....
