my tv signal has been disconnected whilst connecting anther persons sky and not reconnected at aco

hi your sky engineer came this morning to cnnect another tenant and went away without reconnecting me back up

We are all Sky customers here so this is something you will need to speak to your building management team or landlord about so they can get Sky back out for you.

The Sky engineer has been installing TV for another apartment and has left everybody else disconnected.  He has driven off without any word despite the fact I spoke to him when he was working earlier.  Tried to phone Sky and got a message that their lines are closed for training.  What kind of cowboy outfit is this?

 

BT or Virgin here I come.

 

Infuriating lack of common courtesy and awareness of impact on others without even letting them know.

 

How do I get in touch with Sky?

  • Training finished at 1500 28/05/2021 so after that time you would have been ok.
  • I am surprised nobody "in the know" answered on here before then.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 25 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.

We are customers here so what has happened as usually Sky would only suspend a TV service if a bill or bills have not been paid so is this the case with you ?

@Cherice+mccormack If what @caesarome suggests is correct Sky normally require full payment of the outstanding balance and also the setting up of a new continuous payment method before they consider reinstating your services. If you’re 2 or more weeks in arrears you will also have to pay the next bill, as this will have been generated by now. Depending on your previous payment history, if you are able to pay all but £25 of the outstanding amount Sky will usually reinstate your services and they’ll add the £25 to the following months bill.
It is unlikely Sky will respond to calls from you whilst you are in arrears.
Its always best to contact a company before your bill is due when you are struggling to pay them.
