lack of family entertaiment
As A long term Sky user I find the lack of family entertainment quite worrying and there seem to be a strong swing to violence and sex,If I want to sit down between 18.00 and 20.30 with yougsters around the age of 10 to 14 there is very little for us to watch, we used to have Ther Librarian. wharehouse thirteen ureka etc now nothing new at all. I can get them on repeat but you can watch them again so much. We need programs with heros and adventure especially now with pandemict on. Also can you explain how there is anybody left alive in Los Angeles everytime I watch NCIS LA they are shooting half the poppulation how anybody is still alive is beyond me.
I am member for a long time and the quality of programs has definetly gone down [ I am a Diamond Customer]A lot of the progams you bring in from the USA are not new ie Rush first program in the USA 17 July 2014 this makes it 6 years old, The Rookie 6 October 2018 three years old etc I am really beginng to question wherther to continue with sky at all the only thing that is keeping me is the fact you have the contract for F1 but i see Amazon is in talks with FI so maybe I will change.

Re: lack of family entertaiment
You're talking to other customers here, @fastfereddy . To address Sky, I'd suggest emailing Viewer Relations

NoRe: lack of family entertaiment
Sky is only responsible for content on its own branded channels, and can only purchase rights to show the stuff that gets made and is available on the open market: the streaming services are now commissioning more content than the networks and they keep that for themselves. There's also the complication that 'family' series of the kind you describe are now much less likely to get made anyway because it's generally believed that, on the whole, families no longer view linear television together at all, or at least not in sufficient numbers to make production and distribution commercially viable.

Are these programmes usually shown during a pandemic?

If you think LA's bad, you should try living in Midsomer like me. I fear for my life just popping out for a Curly Wurly.
