@bewildered  You CAN phone, you need to remain on the line past the automated mnessages, if you put the phone down the moment you hear it then you will never get through,  remain on the line and when asked why calling say technical.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@bewildered Sky Customer Services agents can multi task and deal with a multitude of issues. Just ring, and stay on the line as advised by @GD1 and you'll get put into the queue. Apparently the best times to ring are just after 7am and about 9pm when the lines are quieter.

@bewildered there are no new Sky+ boxes - they were last manufactured in around 2015. Sky will replace your box if it's faulty with a refurbished one, or you can buy your own used replacement cheaply from eBay etc. There's plenty of the latest DRX890 and DRX895 models available.

Let us know if you want a replacement from Sky (there will be a charge) and we can flag your post to them. Alternatively you might want to consider an upgrade to Sky Q.

@bewildered

It's worth noting that Sky are likely to tell you that you need to move to Sky Q: as @Mark39 indicates, this isn't actually necessary at this time if you don't want to (although eventually Sky+ service will cease as there's now a minority of Sky television subscribers using it)

Thanks guys for input,if I have to re-equip after 20+ years as a customer (not on contract now )but still paying for a lot of out dated gear by the sounds the replies, I may as well do some research on other providers .TQ.

Actually you're not paying anything for,your,Sky+ equipment.  You own it. If you're out of contract and paying standard subscription charges, you're definitely paying too much. Whether or not you swap to Sky Q, negotiating a new subscription package would undoubtedly be cheaper, albeit subject to an 18 months minimum term.

@bewildered

As @Mark39 noted above, eBay is packed with DRX895 boxes for around £30, so re-equipping to the 'best' (and last) Sky+ hardware isn't exactly a huge stretch: a current Freesat recorder will cost six times that.  What's worth pondering is that Sky+ itself is a legacy platform, with a limited feature set and (presumably) a distinctly finite remaining lifespan.

There isn't an email address

You can contact Sky using the phone number here (See the "Need more help?" dropdown near the bottom of the page)

Note: Make sure you have the correct country flag selected in the bottom-right of the page

@Gerard+Hefferon Sky don't converse with customers via email (apart from through Availability Team) so ringing is best.

No signal? Or no satellite signal?

No signal is nothing to do with your dish.
