Energy efficiency for sky equipment
I have the old type sky box (not Q) and a sky fibre router. Any tips on making sure I have both on the most energy efficient settings? I understand they have 2 b left on standby. I am a pensioner so any tips/ideas will be gratefully received. I have put this under router and sky box.

It may depend on the model and age of your Sky box, but some boxes support an ECO mode for standby.
If you select sevices on your remote and look in the settings menu, you may be able to change the standby mode to ECO. This will reduce power consumtion overnight.
If you have an old Skybox, this feature might not be available.

Re: Energy efficiency for sky equipment
@nsims the router uses very little power, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Sky+HD boxes aren't particularly power hungry, but turning on Eco mode will reduce power consumption overnight from a normal of 30w approx to less than 1w.
