cant go back or forth.It is sticking and then going black. I

When I want to pause or go back or forth it just wont do it. Then the screen goes black. I  can get a good picture but cannot do what I always do fast forward or pausing etc. Is it the remote oe the sky box?  I have put in new batteries.  help!!

If you get the error message diskless mode then the explanation can be found in my FAQ also

Note: This procedure will resolve many non-planner related issues as it does a safe reboot of the Sky box
