I have Sky Q and in bed have always watched Tv from Sky on the Box.

Late on the 26th October 2021 we had a power cut and when I awoke in the morning, the sky app on my Xbox was not working.

I can open it, but on the home  screen (which shows some shows available in catch up) there are no pictures.  When I select "on now", the channel names do not appear, and no video preview.  Just a spinning yellow circle.  I then get kicked out of the app with the message "an error has occurred, please try again later" how much later? It still doesn't work over 24 hours later. I managed one show in one channel last night, I don't know what channel, or which show, but it had Russel Howard in it, but no other channels or shows are now available.

All other apps are working.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, logging in again.

I am not using too many devices with y account.

I have a completed a hard reset.

all solutions offered by the forum but nothing has worked.

Not good considering I have Sky Q and broadband and talk from sky and am paying around €100 per month.  I'm starting to wonder what for as the customer service isn't great.

Anyone else had this issue recently, I see it was happening in 2020 but what about this year? And if you had it in the past, what solved it?

Please help me, you're my only hope.

I have escalated your post to Sky who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.
