Re: Will i see a difference?
Interesting, thank you.
I was ready to stick to the Humax and PS4 but then read that TV apps on ps4 are rubbish quality... So it might have to be the fire stick or Google TV instead

Re: Will i see a difference?
Roku doesn't have dolby and Google TV requires chromecast for NOW TV and i think Apple, so Amazon 4k max seems to be the only device with all apps, plus dolby.

Re: Will i see a difference?
Make sure your soundbar is Atmos compatible as there's no point in buying a Firestick if your amplifier can't decode it.
Also, the apps on a Firestick won't be any greater resolution than from any other source like your TV apps or the Aura box. It might be slightly better at upscaling HD content to 4K resolution than what you already have, but you won't see a dramatic difference in image quality.
Does your TV have Dolby Vision or other HDR formats? A Firestick will give you Dolby Vision on content from Netflix & Disney+, something the Aura can't do, but which your TV apps probably can (if the TV is compatible). You'll also get HDR10+ from Amazon Prime content (again, only if your TV is HDR10+ compatible).

Re: Will i see a difference?
Thanks yeah it's dolby atmos. It's more about access to now tv and apple tv+ which I can't do on the aura without chromecast (and can't get apple at all).
I want everything on one menu as its annoying found between devices. Don't mind doing that for recordings and live TV via the aura though.
Originally i thought of sky Q to improve quality of the image on the look of freeview channels however it sounds like that wouldn't be the case.

Re: Will i see a difference?
Sky Q won't give you any better picture quality on the Freeview channels that's for sure. I find that Freeview HD is sharper on my TV than the equivalent channel on Sky Q every time.
A Firestick 4K Max will give you NOW and AppleTV+ no problem. All the other main TV apps are on there too, including iPlayer with some 4K HDR content on it.

The Firestick has rudimentary device control but you're kind of limited by the buttons on the Firestick remote. It'll depend on your model of TV as to whether you can switch HDMI inputs on the TV with it, but if not then you'll still need to use the TV remote to switch source, or if you have HDMI control switched on on the TV, then your PS4 should trigger the HDMI switch when you turn it on.
