WiFi keeps dropping
Hi
we moved from BT to SKY about a month ago.... we have an old house with thick stone walls. Our broadband keeps cutting out. We cannot get full signal throughout the house and the mini q boxes stop working as a result in the othe rooms. We have rebooted and restarted our router and Sky q boxes several times but they still cut out every now and then. We get the blue circle on our tv screens.
when we were with BT we never had this problem although they did provide us with 'boosters' to have around the house which gave us continuous WiFi. Beginning to regret moving to Sky. Any advice?

Re: WiFi keeps dropping
When you signed up with Sky, did you add the "Broadband Boost" option? Charged at an extra £5 per month giving a few extra features, one of which is a booster (or boosters). You'll need to call Sky to discuss your wifi issues, they'll likely look to send someone to try and better things first and may leave a booster to ensure the best wifi they can offer.

Re: WiFi keeps dropping
Hi @Lou43lou
Regarding your Q TV service, Sky should provide an engineer and free boosters in order to get the service working properly. If this isnt possible due to the thick walls then Sky should offer to hardwire the boxes at their expense.
Regarding your broadband signal for devices, the only guarantee Sky make here is if you have the broadband boost option. This gives you an aim of 3mbps of WiFi in every room as well as Sky's new router with better Wifi performance.
