Wi-Fi booster

Hi there I'm hoping you can help me please. 

Im looking for a Wi-Fi range extender to put into my garage so my partner can have internet out there for work. How do I go about purchasing one please

Is the garage adjoined to the house?

Is electricity supplied to the garage from the house and is the house itself on the same circuit?

Sky do not sell their own-brand WiFi Boosters: they are loaned to subscribers who qualify for them.

Some have inevitably leaked onto auction sites.

Yes everything is connected to the house and all from the same circuit.

Certainly worth noting that to be effective, any such device should ideally be mid-way between router and client hardware.  There's very little point having an 'extender' in the remote location itself as the wireless it is receiving is just as poor as everything else there (and its own power output is regulated to exactly the same level)

Awesome thank you. Just wanted to see if there was a viable option and the wee plug in extenders would be ok to use. Fantastic. I will purchase a couple and see if it solves the problem.
