Did you pay it when you have something like a direct debit set up on your account ?

@clairepember1980 Did you make a manual payment when you have a direct debit setup?
You should need to make a manual payment when you have a recurring payment setup.

@clairepember1980 Did you make a manual payment when you already have a continuous payment method setup
if you did then doing so within 4 days of your normal payment due date won't stop the automatic payment process
any overpayment can be used as credit for next month or you can call sky for a refund
