@Stu+Rip

It isn't Skys decision. There are other posts on this. It is down to Ofcom to ban the broadcaster.

Re: Why is RT still on Sky

Hi there, it is not likely that we would be giving you any money off your bill because of a channel.

Have a look at this thread below to understand our position.

Re: Why is RT still on Sky

You can move it out of News at least that does not require Ofcom - stick it somewhere where people need to hunt for it.   22 years with SKY and I WILL cancel if you do not fiox this.   THIS IS A EUROPEAN WAR!!!!!!!!  not playing with channels

RT NOT Answered - OFCOM an excuse... Move the channel NOW :ukraine:‌

OK so rules say you cannot delete the channel until OFCOM interviene - already written to MP and OFCOM but you can move the channel in the guide that is not regulated.  Relegate it to the bottom and I guess you are breaking the law in the EU where they can recieve this so SKY get your act together and sort something tonight.

Because OFCOM are taking an age to investigate the channel which is how it works in the UK because only they can say if a channel has breached its broadcasting license and can order its removal. You can contact OFCOM via their website if you want to provide feedback.

RT Tread locked Sky someone else take this over as they will block me i'm sure

RT is the Russian properganda channel and they are using it and you are promoting it !!! - At least move it from News which it is not but really block it.    Stop telling us to go to OFCOM - we have tried talking to them  -  SKY can ask ofcom for permission  to stop.

it's your business but people in a WAR situation will leave you unless you move with the times

The Russian state-backed television channel RT is set to disappear from Sky TV in the UK within the next 24 hours, irrespective of the outcome of an investigation by the media regulator Ofcom into its coverage of the war in Ukraine.
