On itv now it's the Chase, is it the same on the Playlist if you were to add it?

I know you can pause Live tv & start from the beginning from the tv guide

It depends when you add it!

1. If you added say this morning from the TV guide it will show today's broadcast once ITV release it to the ITV HUB.

2. If you watch it from the start it can pop into your playlist list today too, but this is a bit hit n miss

3. If you add after viewing you'll highly likely get tomorrow's once ITV release it to the HUB

Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

Thanks, I'm getting Stream tomorrow, I'll give it a try,

also tried to order a further puck when on the phone to Sky but he said his system wouldn't let him,  I've only got the basic £26 a month, puck cost £20, so I've ordered only one, he said once it's up & running I will be able to order another from the Sky website,

I'll see how it goes as we only watch the mini via Q in the kitchen for news, Chase & the occasional Pointless so what's the point of paying for "whole Home" the tv in the kitchen has all the apps anyway, it'll save me £12 a month.

Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

So I got 4 pucks this morning. Thought I'd set one up quickly before going to work.
Didn't want to connect the main tv with the sky Q box so did one in another room that has a mini box.
I disconnected the box , connected puck and the message came up on screen saying connect to the internet however, to do that I need a remote to work ! And there's the problem. All 4 of them failed to work. No light - no backlight nothing

I tried pressing 1&3 nothing

tried 9&7 followed by 1&3 - nothing

took out the batteries , put them back - nothing

even put new batteries in - nothing !

phoned sky who suggested trying a different puck but nothing. !!
I can't believe all 4 remotes are faulty

any suggestions ? Will they not work because the main sky box is still connected even though it's to a different tv?
Not a great start

If you try to connect before taking out the piece of paper protecting the batteries that's a known issue.

If there's power in the remote you'll see the buttons light when you pick it up.

Although it sounds like you've done that, try holding 7&9 for three seconds to disconnect, then 1&3 for three seconds to reconnect.

I've already had one replacement puck and remote though, so it's clear they're low quality kit.

Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

Can you still view & watch programs from  the tv guide on Sky Go app after you've gone with Stream?

Yes. But you can't add anything to your playlist like you could add things to your box for recording.

Yes tried everything but it just looks like they are dead ?

Just tested for you and no you can't but CH5 shows records to the cloud directly and you don't need to use an app like you do with BBC/ITV/CH4

@Steve93

I think on Quest it would open the Discovery Plus app.

Re: Who's switching from Q to Stream?

Oh, I thought it was classed as a Sky Channel & I thought all their channels are recorded in the cloud, ie Sky Arts

No Quest is owned by Warner Bros Discovery like Animal Planet.
