When will Sky offer the option to downgrade online?

Ha! I wish!

When is Sky going to allow us to downgrade online? Thsi policy of having to call in via some obscure call centre to go through a gate then to hold while someone in the UK bothers to answer 30 minutes later to flick a switch for you, is downright irritating.

EDIT: changed title to better reflect the conversation

Re: Sky announces customers can now downgrade online

There is a messaging service that can be used which is available from 9am - 7.30pm 7 days a week:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv

So select "Yes I still need help" to see it.

As for actually cancelling online, you would have thought that this would have been introduced by now if Sky wanted us to be able to do it instead of calling.

@0wa1n

If you ran a subscription business, you'd also want to make it hard for your customers to give you less money.

@William221  If you're expecting Sky to respond, they won't.  You need to pick up the phone.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@William221 unless you call sky you wont be able to downgrade as sky do not offer an online facility to do this.
