We’ve just had sky installed (broadband, landline and TV). Now our landline isn’t working

The Sky engineer came to install our broadband service yesterday along with landline and TV. Now our landline isn't working. 
No mobile signal where we live so can't call SKY for help. Tried on Wifi call but it cut out twice. We rely on it where we live.

If your Sky Hub has a Voice light and it's lit, have you plugged your phone into the socket at the back of the Hub?

If your Sky Hub has a Voice light and it's lit, have you plugged your phone into the socket at the back of the Hub?

This troubleshooting link may help https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/fix-problems-with-your-phone/check-your-phone-line
If that fails to resolve your issue post here again and we may be able to get you some help with a Sky expert.
If/when a fault is diagnosed Sky will pass it to Openreach to carry out the repair. Openreach normally aim to fix reported faults within 3-5 working days of being notified of them, but that could easily lengthen due to bad weather causing high demand, or if they have to get permission to dig up roads.

Do you have a voice light on your broadband hub and if so is it lit ?

I've done a line check and it's not an external fault. I think it's something to do with the set-up

Amazing! That's worked - thanks so much. The engineer had plugged the phone in to the wall socket but it obviously needs to be plugged in to the hub.

@Customer5000 just for future reference, that means your have Sky internet calls (also known as Sky VOIP). The post pinned to the top of the forum gives some information about internet calls that you might find useful.
