Viewing card replasement

I contacted Sky customer service yesterday about a problem I was having with my viewing card and they told me they needed to send me a new card, but they didn't say how long it would take to arrive. As we all know trying to speak to someone on the phone can take ages and at a cost you have to bare. Does anyone on here know how long it normally takes for a new viewing card to be sent out and is it worth me trying to ask for some sort of compensation for the loss of view time while waiting for the new card.

@kenazaki  You do know that calls to Sky on their 03 number are generally included in your mobile or landline providers minutes, if you have Sky Talk calls are free.

Replacement cards can take  afew days to arrive.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Previous posts suggest it's around a week. You could ask for a refund of your subscription cost from the date you called to report the problem (yesterday) until the new Card arrives. That would, of course mean another call to Sky after you've received the Card, so probably not worth it, in all honesty.
