VGA projector

I have a projector with a VGA connection, can I get a HDMI to VGA convertor and then plug the VGA into the projector.... with the convertor plugged into the sky Q or Sky mini box?

@Frobrishire-SmythYes but if you are using a mini box it has a VGA output with a mini jack, you still need a cable and there are 2 different connection arrangements. Sky no longer sell the cable but I believe the Nokia one works.

@Frobrishire-Smyth  HDMI to VGA convertors are listed on Amazon  but note these require power as the voltage on the Sky Q HDMI output is not powerful enough to do so. The one in the link has a microusb input so you would need a usb power supply or use a powered usb output if the projector has one.

The Nokia cable that @bob1234 refers to is the CA-75U: it's mini-jack to composite video & stereo audio on RCA plug
