When I use the apps or netflix on sky Q box, I can access the apps fine however, once I start watching a movie, the screen goes blank after a few minutes of viewing...I then need to try again and again. When I turn the box off at the plug, it resolves for a day and then the issue comes straight back.

You could try refreshing your apps.
Scroll down to 'Settings' but don't select it.
Press 001 and select.
A hidden menu appears and you will see 'Refresh Apps'
Click on that and start the refresh. It does take quite a while but just leave it until it's finished, when it should return you to the main screen.
I hope that works.

Hi, thank you for the info...we did find a refresh instruction on the Internet, tried that and it only helped for a day or two 🥴

Hi I have a Sharp TV and same happens withAmazon prime and Apple TV plus apps, Netflix works fine.
