Upgrading to ultrafast Plus in the future possible?

yeah, youre right, it is G. Fast I am getting as Sky have just confirmed it, but checking back through emails it says the engineer is coming to fit an ONT in my house on Monday. so that doesn't seem to make sense as I assume that's for FTTP. 
 thats what has confused me.

That wont happen unless an upgrade order to a faster speed is placed

I know it won't happen automatically, I wondered if it could happen at all, or if I had to wait till I finished my contract to change packages?

If Ultrafast plus (FTTP) becomes available to you, which at the moment it isnt. Then Sky would simply let you upgrade to the faster speed as with any in contract upgrade. No need to wait the 18 months.

When that link i gave you shows wbc fttp available then you would need to contact sky for the fttp ultrafast 500Mbps
