Ultra HD

Has anyone upgraded to ultra HD? My box doesn't currently support this so want to know if I can upgrade my box to get this and know how much this costs?

@CH.27  Best to give Sky a call as there may be a deal that can be done.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

hi @CH.27

the upgrades can be a self install & often the price has been £25 for a 1TB & £50 2TB UHD / HDR box

The full price - which is an engineer install price - is £99

However, some people have reported that they have only ever been quoted the full price - apparently to get the sel install discounts the system needs to have the UHD add on added first - so if you don't get the lower price options offered make sure they try adding the UHD add on first

BW the full add on price for the UHD Pack (needed to get UHD/4K content) is £4pm on top of the HD pack but often can be discounted if you have other add ons
