Trying to return router etc .

You sent me snotty message about charging me £50 for returns, when i was never asked to return anything !I updated to sky q, so I dont need the 'old' stuff !, its no use to me ! I have phoned 3 times since my bill ! But you have not sent me any packaging & a list of what you want returned . The simple solution is, if you choose to ignore me, as I have a life to live, I will just cancel all payments & you can come & collecy ALL of YOUR equipment !

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@johnflavell  You're mistaken, no one on the forum sent any messages, this is a custoemr helps customer forum, you are not talking to Sky but fellow customers.

Sky won't come and collect any equipment in response to a forum post.  You can actually use your own packaging, this link explains how to return your items.  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/return-tv-broadband#q-help-articles

If you cancel all payment as you've suggested then YOU are in breach of contract and sky will be more than happy to terminate all your services due to non payment.

Why people think it's a good idea to just stop payment is beyond me as this is never a good idea.

No company will act because you stopped payment, the real world does not work like that.

If you had Sky HD+ then you don't need to return it unless your recycling this.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Trying to return router etc .

Hi there @johnflavell  if you have moved from Sky + HD to Sky Q then the boxes are yours, you do not need to return anything.

If however you changed from Sky Q say 1tb box to a 2tb box or something like that, then you need to return the older Q equipment.

This also happens when upgrading from the old Q hub to the new 4.2 hub when upgrading to superfast.

Thanks
