Hi
Im just trying to tidy up the cables around my sky+ box as i cancelled Sky TV a while back as i have a TV stick. I have kept my box connected as i can still get the freeview channels from Sky.
So my question is can i remove the phone line from the back of my box to my main socket and also there is a yellow cable that goes from the back of the sky box to the sky hub. What is this for and can it also be removed now?
Im not tech savvy at all so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry i forgot to ask does the yellow cable have anything to so with my broadband speed as ive been having issues with this recently.
I have been trying to check my speed on My Sky as ive been monitoring it but it must be down as the message comes up with outage in your area.

Conceivably if the Sky box was malfunctioning, but that's unlikely.
