How can I get a replacement Sky HD+ box so that I can use TVLink again? I don't want Sky Q at this stage and don't have the Sky Protect insurance

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs a temporary measure you cpuod use the RF1 socket instead of RF2, but ypu won't be able to remotely control your Sky box.
Sky will replace the box for their usual callout fee of £65. Alternatively you could source your own used replacement via ebay etc probably at less cost. Look for a DRX890 or DRX895 model. The ones with a W or WL suffix (e.g. DRX890WL) are the most recent.
