Re: The Resident

I suspect that Sky may have already had the S3 and S4 rights from when they shut down Universal then S5 reverted to Disney.

I think you are correct. Sky already was broadcasting season 4 when it landed on Disney+. I cannot see Sky broadcasting season 5. I think it's gone to the Disney+ side.

The problem is going to be that people are going to have to subscribe to streaming services such as Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Paramount+ in order to watch what they have been watching elsewhere or for new US TV shows and some movies.

That's the reality, and future, of it. And that's why Sky is panic-stricken, adding all the apps to their platform to fool people into believing they still need Sky at £25 p/m instead of a Fire Stick at £25 outright...

For Peacock, Netflix, and Paramount+, Sky is the best deal. Netflix is cheaper. Peacock is included, and Paramount+ is included with Sky Cinema on Sky.

I hope this doesn't happen to 911 as well o don't want to pay for Disney+

@morenobutterfly

It'll depend on the contract Disney has with Sky for the show, same goes with Lone Star.

Personally I hope they get pulled from Sky and exclusively on Disney+. Moght actually get them the same time as the US instead of the 3-8 months behind!

Re: The Resident

I will disappointed if that happens but it does make sense. SKY WITNESS won't have much on it anymore

Re: The Resident

You can always get disney + for a month or 2 a year, binge the shows you like then cancel again

Re: The Resident

If all the episodes are put on at once and not weekly week maybe I will

Re: The Resident

Disney + usually do weekly episodes so you would need to wait till all the episodes are on there, then sign up
