Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Christopher10000 If you don't have an overdraft with the bank they will reject the DD, Sky will then resubmit in a few days.
It really depends on if your bank will allow you to go overdrawn.

Thank you, no we don't have an overdraft. So hopefully they return it and take it out once the funds are available.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSky will attempt to take payment again approximately 10 days after the failed attempt. If that fails you will find your services restricted shortly after. I advise you to ring Sky before that happens.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Christopher10000 If there was enough money in your account for the full bill amount at the time sky requested payment then they (Sky) are not obligated afaik to refund you as all they have done is taken the total amount of bill
however if you have ended up double paying because you have made a manual payment as well as Sky taking an automatic payment then you can phone sky and request the overpayment back which takes upto 5 working days to complete
