Sky haven't stolen your money as that bill was created prior to you cancelling so would have been requested already from your bank. The refund should take between 3-5 weekdays to be returned to you so when did you call to cancel and the following day would be day one. If it was a Saturday then Monday would be day one.

Re: Stealing money from my account

So one week later still no refund phoned sky again another half hour on the phone to be took through and told the exact same scenario as last week and while on the phone sky text saying that I've changed my mobile billing date to the 18th unbelievable so now I've apparently changed my billing date for an account that doesn't even exist that was cancelled weeks ago so had to call again and was told to just ignore what incompetence from sky absolute joke

Re: Stealing money from my account

I have been a sky customer for 5 years and I am absolutely furious. Sky have done the same to me. I cancelled sky tv but continued with broadband and I made a point to send the Q box back with everything it came with.. only to be charged anyway!!!! They have left me minus in my account for God only knows what reason. Thanks alot sky! In two minds to get rid of the broadband too incase I get robbed again.

Re: Stealing money from my account

Hi @63johnw I tried to contact them however their phone lines are not open until 8.30am. I figured I would try and find out if anyone else had this same problem before calling back lol.

Re: Stealing money from my account

Exactly what has happened to me today. I returned the equipment on the 05/10/2021 and today I have been left with minus in my account. A total of £142 withdrawn wrongfully and I'm going to take this up legally. I couldn't go to work and I'm self employed. I can't because of sky recklessness loss my earning for today. They would have to pay as well as return my money immediately.
